All At One Shot

At the start of the holidays, I challenged myself to scrap one layout per day, which means a total of 9 layouts (including the weekends at the beginning and end of the hols.

How many did I manage, you ask?
*ahem* seven.

but i only still have five of the seven, as the others were done as gifts; one of which i stupidly forgot to even take a photo of. |||-_-\

in order:
008: James Rui-An Gifford

For James with whom Sophie had a playdate on 1st Sept. This was done in a massive hurry - about 45 mins? - before Debbie and James arrived. The words in blue did not stand out very well so I outlined them in black pen after taking the photo and they looked much better.
The arrow is also pretty nice I feel - used Basic Grey rubons to give the swirly effect and edged the arrow in blue.

Credits: DCWV PP, alphas from American Crafts thickers and Doodlebug; feathered friends chipboard from (goodness knows where), hearts from Maya Road Microchips, photo mat from K&Co, rubons from Basic Grey, ghost arrow from Heidi Swapp.

008a: Playmates - Mireille and Alexander
This is the one I do not have a photo of - Wendy and Jolene from SMH came over to scrap, so I volunteered to do an LO for Jolene's daugher Mireille (say: Mee-RAY) and Ashley's son Alexander.

009: Can You Beat This?
Canned veggies, especially bean sprouts.. Make one wonder how any Asian could ask an Aussie for veggies with a straight face? I can't imagine canned bean sprouts, ugh, aren't bean sprouts supposed to be crunchy??

Also done with Scarlet Lime's July kit. =) journalling was done on an extra-cute tag that came in a miniature grocery bag!

Credits: Paper, cardstock, buttons, ribbons, felt flower, stickers (arrow, circles, bracket, photo corner, December 2006 tag & bag tag) and grocery shopping note from Scarlet Lime July kit; alphas from Wati's RAK, American Crafts Thickers/Remarks and Cosmo Cricket; grocery bag tag from Joann.com; cork tape from Daiso; transparency from Hambly's; felt shapes from Laines; chipboard flowers from KI Memories; and Aqua Stickles on the blue letters.

010: Those Sunnies!
Done in Beautiful Mess (MWL) style with Love Elsie stuff; first of a 3 part series. Found that the colouring of the Love Elsie stuff matched this photo, so it made a quantum leap in my priority list to scrap. Else, I don't know when I will ever reach this one.. ahahaha..

I have no idea where that pair of sunnies has gone, but it was a really attention grabbing pair - dark green frames with orange-pink plastic! True to the tradition of all my sunnies, it was a pushcart pickup for about $10.

011: Love of My Life
Also another in the Beautiful Mess style. Hehe. Photo also bumped up the prioirity list cos it matched the colour scheme!

Credits: Love Elsie - Josie papers, brown cardstock, alphas, epoxy stickers, cardstock stickers, chipboard stickers, Maya Road chipboard flowers, Maya Road Microchips Hearts, Feathered Friends chipboards.

012: Five Things Dad & Kid
This one was really interesting. Used as much of the remaining cardstock, chipboard and epoxy stickers that I could to create this LO - and the effect turned out pretty good! Its really messy but there are so many things to look at.

Credits: Love Elsie - Josie papers, brown cardstock, alphas, epoxy stickers, cardstock stickers, chipboard stickers. KI memories paper, Scenic Route chipboard, Dark Blue Stickles.

016: 6 months: Go Places?
Her 6 month LO! Whee! Its the fastest I have ever come up with an LO after she hits the age. =) At 6 months Sophie has learned to crawl like an express train and is trying her darndest to stand. She's really going to go places soon - and it will be such a job chasing after her!

Credits: Cosmo Cricket PP, Striptease; American Crafts thickers and Doodlebug cupcake alphas; KI Memories Softies photo corner; Maya Road Microchips Hearts; Stickles in pink (forgot the name of colour); metal rim tag and speech bubble from Spotlight; American Crafts Townhouse vinyl flourish, Ghost arrow from Heidi Swapp, Now Playing sticker from 7G; photo turns from Joann.com

Whew - I am finally done!
*applauds self*
