More blogthings!

You Are Incredibly Logical

Move over Spock - you're the new master of logic
You think rationally, clearly, and quickly.
A seasoned problem solver, your mind is like a computer!

Your Inner Blood Type is Type A

You seem cool and collected, though a bit shy.
You are highly driven and a perfectionist, but that's a side you keep to yourself.
Creative and artistic, you are a very unique person who doesn't quite fit in.
People accept you more than you realize, seeing you as trustworthy and loyal.

You are most compatible with: A and AB

Famous Type A's: Britney Spears and Hilter

You Have Low Self Esteem 28% of the Time

Generally, you feel pretty darn great about who you are, even when you mess up or fail.
Occasionally, a huge setback will make you question yourself, but you pick yourself up quickly.

Your Brain is 53% Female, 47% Male

Your brain is a healthy mix of male and female
You are both sensitive and savvy
Rational and reasonable, you tend to keep level headed
But you also tend to wear your heart on your sleeve

You Are: 50% Dog, 50% Cat

You are a nice blend of cat and dog.
You're playful but not too needy. And you're friendly but careful.
And while you have your moody moments, you're too happy to stay upset for long.

Catharsis

Cutting my nails really short is a sign of stress or shock.
It helps me dissociate myself from the facts before my eyes.

Have just discovered someone close (not from church) is married at 24 and expecting a child. Or should I say because of the child. Difficult to dissociate this mother-to-be, from the 2 or 5 or 21 year old child i remember, because to me she is still a child. Difficult to accept that the guy is so much her senior, an angmoh and involved in a "seedy" industry. Kind of stunning to see the familial pattern with her sister and her mother of the same mold.

I need to rotate my mindsets to accept these facts. Help, God.

Short Updates

absence of updates reflecting dearth of freetime. Sigh.

4S5 outing - 4th September
Bugis

You guys are great and wonderful.. I am honoured to be the section leader of this marvellous section and I will strive to be an even better SL to all of you in the year to come. Thanks for celebrating my birthday, thanks for the wonderful card(s) and gift(s) and the effort from all to really come and join in the fellowship. More than I could ever teach any of you, I have learnt from you. *bows*

I love this photo so because everyone's so happy.

Colonizing the cafe! Roar!

Gifts from my Section.. See the orange bag and cards.. Do imagine whitespace at the rest of the photo cos I posed this on my (ahemverymessyahem) bedroom table.

Birthday celebrations
Various dates 'round September - thanks all for the gifts, thoughts and wishes. In the time leading up to this birthday, I wondered what I should ask for as presents and I couldn't come up with anything at all. Partly 'cos I haven't had any time to go shopping or wishlisting, but also because I couldn't find any area of lack in my life.

There. How's that for a positive thought? =)

Ah well.
The best gifts in life are free or priceless, depending on how you look at it. And I got some of the best gifts EVAR:
- Handmade cards - thanks for all the EFFORT 4S5 (see above!) and Tiffany!

- Delivery of flowers, chocolates and a blindingly red cushion - thanks Tiffany, Jingxuan and Gary!

- THIS

It was kind of a shock to get the letter so fast, within a year of the last one. Its a big step and I can't imagine what I have done to deserve it.. Thank you my leaders, especially Richie and Roger, for believing in me, training me and giving me the liberty to try out those things that I wanted to try. Thank you my peers, for supporting me, helping me and teaching me. Thank you my ushers, for being so faithful and teachable and supportive. Thank you G, for being so understanding at all the times when I'm swamped in ministry matters. I will continue to strive to live up to the appointment - I don't think I will ever reach a zenith because there is always more to learn and do - so I will continue to strive.

Once again, thank you.

Personality Tests
- I haven't indulged in one for a loong time.

You Have A Type A- Personality

You are one of the most balanced people around
Motivated and focused, you are good at getting what you want
You rule at success, but success doesn't rule you.

When it's playtime, you really know how to kick back
Whether it's hanging out with friends or doing something you love!
You live life to the fullest - encorporating the best of both worlds
