I wanna be a sponge!

Invertebrates (sponges and corals) do not show signs of aging.

Two factors have been found to influence the aging process and thus life span:
1. Calorie restriction, that is, a semi-starvation diet. In fact, restricting food intake has been shown to increase life span.
2. Genetic factors.

Wah biang! I wanna be a sponge lah! All day long, just wave around happily under the sea. And some more wun die unless kanna caught by some kaypoh fisherman to get sold in organic marine products shop. Heh. And some more. Sponges are Hole-y by nature. Yay... =)

Can you see how bored I am at my course? Wail!

Ooh.
the more lipofuscin you produce, the longer you take to age (or is the other way around?)
